It is. Our Bulk Sea Moss, the same as our smaller bagged Sea Moss, is grown in the open ocean. It does not come from tanks or pools. This has been allowed to grow with the natural flow of the tide in waters that it naturally occurs in.

Do you operate sustainably?

We do. Our Raw Sea Moss comes directly from the ocean and is harvested sustainably in a way that doesn’t have a negative effect on our plant.

What is the country of origin?

Over the years we have inspected many Seaweed Farms and visited many communities. All of this was done for us to find a source of Raw Sea Moss we were happy to use in our own home. It was after this that we felt that we could bring this gift from nature forward to share with you.

We have a very special Seaweed Farmer in a small community in Vietnam that we work with exclusively. The seaweed that we source is put through very rigorous testing and processes to ensure it is safe for us to use in our own kitchen.

For us to be able to import this seaweed into Australia we have to comply with very strict border security, quarantine, and inspection regulations.

What do you check before you buy yours?

What does this weigh?

Each vacuum-sealed bag contains approximately 453g (roughly 1 pound) of dried Sea Moss. At the listed price with the amount you get, this is like getting Irish Sea Moss wholesale!

How long will this Sea Moss last?

After you have opened the bag you should comfortably be able to continue to store your dried Sea Moss in resealable zip lock bags or a container for 2 to 4 months. Keep this in a dry place that is cool. We would advise that you do not freeze or refrigerate your dried Sea Moss.

We have samples that have comfortably been able to last as long as 12 months in storage before opening.

Each vacuum-sealed package is labeled with a batch number and an expiry date on the bottom. If you choose to make Sea Moss Gel it is advisable that you refrigerate this to prolong its shelf life.

Is Raw Sea Moss easy to use?

Yes. It is easy to make into a gel or to wash and rehydrate before using it in any other recipes you choose. We have created a selection of recipes to which you can add your Bulk Raw Sea Moss to. We also choose to make Sea Moss Gel for topical applications, which you can easily do too if you choose to.

Where will my order be sent from?

We are in Australia, and all of our Sea Moss orders are sent out from Australia. For Customers who are overseas, this means that you may need to allow for a little more time compared to what you may allow for usually.

This is because your order is going to be coming from another country (not the country you live in).

We complete all of our final Quality Control checks with our Team in Australia. This is done to ensure that all of our products are confirmed as being suitable for sale. This also helps us to meet various Customs and Border Security requirements when sending to other countries.

How long will shipping normally take?

Time frames for shipping could be between 2 to 10 business days inside Australia. Some remote locations could be closer to 10 business days, with major cities normally being closer to the 2 to 4-day mark for deliveries.

Orders going overseas normally take between 14 to 20 business days, unless there are significant events that result in delays. If there are significant delays that we become aware of we will highlight these at the top of this page.

Can I get a refund?

We do offer refunds if they are in line with our policies. Before you order, please see our Delivery, Returns & Refunds Policy for specific information on how we handle refunds.

Please be advised that we don’t offer refunds for changes of mind or any dissatisfaction with shipping delays (which are beyond our control), so please carefully consider any purchases before you finalise them.

Will I have any other costs?

Our Bulk Sea Moss is priced in AUD, so if you are buying from outside of Australia there may be bank charges that you incur. For most banks, it is usually a few cents and quite often less than a dollar.

Please check with your bank about any international transaction charges you may face.
